I ordered the original maker's battery, why take the chance of ruining equipment worth over $800.00 with an off-brand battery. Of course, I paid more. But I got what I wanted, NO surprises. It does exactly what it should and I don't have to worry about about my camera.
Easy to charge, holds charge well, works for a very long time without worrying about anything. Great product
The battery came in original new package, and works fine. It seems a bit crazy to have to pay this much for a camera battery, but I wanted original manufacturer equipment, and not an off-brand.
The product got to me very fast considering I am deployed in the middle east, Thanks Amazon.
After the initial charge this battery lasted through the entire rehearsal dinner(photo session), wedding pics, wedding, after party and all the excitement in between. I am at best an amateur photog. I bought this as I was going to a friend's wedding and wanted some back up. I was using an IS lens in available (low light) situations for most of the event. I thought that was pretty impressive.
